Fertility Frequently Asked Questions

Dr. Delcoco and Amber have both gone through the extensive training program in Omaha, NE and have years of experience with a variety of women’s health situations. Every treatment plan will be customized to your specific health scenario. With our common workup launch point, we start with a full hormone panel (on a cycle specific day) so we can understand foundationally where you stand to know if we need to incorporate hormone supplementation. Often this sets the trajectory for your tailor-made health treatment plan. The most important thing with NaProTECHNOLOGY is that all the actions we take are geared toward the health restoration and keeping true with Saint Pope John Paul the Great’s Theology of the Body guidelines. What can I expect during NaPro Medical Consults?

Do I have to chart my cycles with Creighton?

It is common for our providers to recommend charting your cycles when we see you for NaPro Consults. The reason for this is so that the foundation of the woman’s cycle is charted in a language the providers can quickly gain a lot of insights from. It also provides a road map for you, the patient, to better understand your cycles, when ovulation is occurring, and when supplements come into play. YES! The reproductive system is like any other body system that we want to function correctly. This approach to medicine is completely health oriented and focused on getting cause of concern and restoring the health of the reproductive system.

I am not interested in getting pregnant right now. Can I still benefit from this?

I have a history of IVF/IUI/etc. that weren't successful. Is there any hope that NaPro could help me?

YES! We see many patients in this category and we have been able to help many have successful pregnancies. Our approach is different and often more effective than the artificial options. Studies show that charting your cycles paired with NaPro medical treatment results in up to an 80% success rate for infertility (diagnosed as 12 months, random acts of intercourse with no pregnancy success) couples.

We are now offering Telemedicine! Because insurance coverage is rare with telemedicine, we generally offer this for the cash pay amount; however we are happy to try submitting it to insurance if you would desire to see if they will cover, and if so we will reimburse you.

I live far away but am interested in pursuing this! What are my options?
