Pediatrics

Your little one is going to be growing fast in their first year and there are many milestones we want to track. We will plan to see your child for their well child visits regularly starting at their: newborn weight check, 1 Month, 2 month, 4 month, 6 month, 9 month, 12 month, 15 month, 18 month & 24 month mark. After that, well child visits are yearly.

What can I expect at each visit?

For the first 2 years. we will always want to weigh and measure your baby to assure they are growing and gaining weight appropriately. Once we have baby’s vitals, the provider will come in and ask questions about baby’s development and conduct an age appropriate exam. Your healthcare provider will discuss vaccines with you and come up with a plan you are comfortable with. If you have Medicaid, we will provide you a script to get vaccines at the Health department.

Can we be seen same day for sick visits?

YES! We know that there may be times you will want your child to be seen between wellness visits for sick appointments. Unless we encounter unforeseen circumstances (a provider out, holiday, etc), we can guarantee one of our providers will be able to see your child for same day urgent care if you call before 9AM. We may be able to still see them same day even if you call after 9.

Who will we see when we come?

You are welcome to schedule with any of our knowledgeable providers. They are all able to see pediatric patients of all ages and cherish the opportunity to love and care for your child alongside you!

What if my child is sick, or I have concerns, and the office isn't open?

If we are closed and you have an immediate medical concern, we would recommend Urgent Care or an Emergency Room. If you wish to speak to someone and our office is closed, we suggest calling the Peyton Manning St. Vincent 24hr nurse line: (317) 338-KIDS (5437).
